If you love rice, then you have to switch to red rice instead of the more tasty but processed white rice. Red rice is abundance of fiber, nutrients and vitamins. It also have anthocyanins, an antioxidant that helps prevent free radicals to damage our body. With fiber, you can be sure that it will help you lose weight. So the next time you go to a supermarket, buy red rice and know the difference.

2. Whole-grain pasta

Whole wheat pasta is a perfect snack in any occasion. It’s not just affordable but also good for your health. Pasta dishes can also be mixed with other healthy ingredients such as olive oil and vegetables. And when you say whole wheat, you can be sure that its healthy because of fiber content.

3. Apple

Any fruits can be in this list but I prefer apple as this is my favorite. Apples are rich in antioxidants polyphenols, flavonoids and vitamin C. It’s skin has pectin, an substance that helps detoxifies bad toxins out of the body. This fruit is perfect for those who are dieting as it is a natural appetite suppressant. As the saying goes “an apple a day keeps the doctor away!”.

4. Salmon

Salmon is not only delicious but also super nutritious. It has omega-3 fats which is perfect for the heart. It helps reduce your bad cholesterol, triglycerides and other risks for heart diseases.

5. Green tea

Like any other tea, green tea has powerful antioxidants specifically catechin polyphenols – epigallocatechin gallate which helps prevent the development of cancer cells. Green tea is also known to help aid weight loss. So, do you still want to drink those coffee? Try green tea today!

1. Pork fats and red meats

Pork fats and red meat will trigger different diseases primarily heart attack. It is also the number one cause of stroke, cancer and obesity. If you want to stay fit and healthy, then avoid eating pork dishes especially its fats.

2. Dairy products

Full-fat dairy products like cheese and butter can make your blood cholesterol to spike up. These products are good sources of saturated fats, which is one of the many causes of obesity.

3. Alcohol beverages

Even the Bible recommends a little drink of alcohol, and science proved it to be beneficial to our health. But too much alcohol consumption is bad for your health. It will lead to obesity and organ damage specially the liver. Avoid drinking too much alcohol to prevent hurting your health.

4. Processed foods

Processed foods includes sausages, hotdogs, bacons, canned goods and many others. These products do have high trans fats which is not good for your health. Trans fats increase your bad cholesterol while decreasing your HDL cholesterol. Eating too much junked foods can put your health into many health risks such as obesity.

5. Sweets

Sweets or sugary foods such as candies, cakes, ice creams and many others are not good for your health. It will increase your blood sugar levels plus it will get your cravings into the higher level which could lead to getting overweight. Moderate your sweet cravings as much as possible.
